I am de-virginizing my Deviantart journal.

Hello guys!
I'm Rachel. I've always loved art, I wanted to be an artist when I was a kid (during my prep graduation, I announced it to the whole world haha) but I haven't had the chance to really pursue it. I used to join art contests and all, and my favorite medium is pastel. As I grew up, I started liking new things and I dropped my art class. I do regret that because I miss drawing, painting, and making posters using pastel crayons.

Well, I really didn't let go of art because the course I am taking is in some way related to it anyone. Creative challenges are the challenges that I love the most! I don't draw anymore (well I still doodle on my notebook) but I like editing photos and doing lay-outs in photoshop.

I recently discovered the joys of photography when my parents bought me my Canon 400D. I'm really new to this thing, I've only been doing it for a couple of months but I love it! Someday, when I decide that I don't want to be a creative director of an advertising agency anymore or be an events coordinator, I will pursue photography professionally.

Having said that, I will be posting mostly photographs and not artwork. Maybe if I will have time again I will try drawing/poster-making and if the results are good I will post them here.
